Overview

What it actually is.

Senior patients face dental challenges that younger patients rarely encounter: medication-related dry mouth, root surfaces exposed by gum recession, existing crowns and bridges that need to be maintained, and the demands of denture care.

Our team has the patience, the unhurried pace, and the experience to deliver the kind of considered care senior patients deserve.

Decades of use bring specific needs. We have the patience, pace, and experience to meet them.

What to Expect

How the visit goes.

Every patient gets the same unhurried, step-by-step process. No surprises, no fine print — you know what's happening before it happens.

01 Step 01

Comprehensive review

We review all medications and medical conditions — many affect oral health in ways patients don't expect.

02 Step 02

Gentle cleaning

Hand-scaling and modern ultrasonics are tailored to sensitive teeth and exposed root surfaces.

03 Step 03

Restoration review

We check every existing crown, bridge, denture, or filling — and address anything that has begun to fail.

04 Step 04

Home-care plan

Specific recommendations for dry mouth, denture cleaning, and managing reduced manual dexterity.

Why It Matters

What you get out of it.

The benefits aren't theoretical. Here's what changes for you in the weeks and months after treatment.

01

Maintain function

Keeping the ability to chew normally has a major impact on nutrition, social life, and overall health.

02

Manage dry mouth

Dry mouth from medication accelerates decay — we offer specific products and habits to counteract it.

03

Denture comfort

We adjust, reline, and replace dentures so they fit comfortably and function well for years.

04

Whole-body care

Periodontal health is tied to heart, diabetes, and cognitive outcomes — we keep gums healthy as a priority.

Insurance & Pricing

Medicare Advantage and most PPOs.

We accept most major dental insurance plans including Medicare Advantage. For uninsured seniors, the Premium Membership Plan ($300/year) covers preventative care and discounts every other treatment.

Questions

The things everyone asks.

Does Medicare cover dental?
Original Medicare does not cover routine dental. Many Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits — we accept most major plans and will verify coverage before treatment.
What's the best fix for dry mouth?
Frequent water, sugar-free gum, prescription rinses, and adjusting medications when possible all help. We will identify the contributing causes and build a specific plan.
Can I still get implants in my 70s or 80s?
Yes. Age alone is not a barrier — bone density, healing capacity, and overall health are the key factors. Many of our implant patients are well into their 70s.
